For Children

Story Hour for preschool kids!  Join us on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. for picture books, songs, and movement activities.  The program lasts about 45 minutes.  All children should be accompanied by a responsible care giver.

Early Out Activities will be held at 1:30 every scheduled early out on the Central Lee School Year Calendar.  All school aged children are welcome. 

Summer Reading Program runs all of June and July each year. 

Each weekday (Monday- Friday), there will be an activity for the kids at 2:00 pm.

Wednesday at 10:00 am a reading discussion aimed for elementary and middle school aged children will be held. All are welcome. 

Some special programs will be at different times.  Notices of these activities will be on our website's calendar and posted on the Facebook's library page.

Brochures will be given to the school for distribution and available at the library starting in May. We will be closed on July 4th for Independence day observation and no activities will be held that day. 

The theme for 2023 is Find Your Voice. We are collecting representations of your voice to display through June and July.  If you want the item returned, it will need to have your name and contact information on it. The library will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of these items.  We are also collecting short stories, poems, or art to put into a book for check out later in 2023. Let a librarian know, if you have something you want to share.
